The plan usually consists of what need the business is catering to, who are the potential customers, goals of the business, capital required, financing and sustainability are some of the questions that need to be set down on the plan. The plan may sometimes include ERM system to manage and control risks of the business as well.
Financing the business
Some people may have saved up money to start their business but for those who don’t there are many options out there such as receiving a loan from the bank, venture capital, investors and even crowd funding have become popular nowadays. The financing will be different from business to business. Some startups may require very large capital but some can manage with little or no capital at all.
Some people may plan to start the business at home or property owned by a friend or family. This means the costs will be low. Most people may have to rent a property.
